CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!
The primary purpose of the Security Analyst position is to evaluate security events identified by CEFCU's network and security monitoring systems, identify system vulnerabilities, and investigate member and employee-reported security issues to protect CEFCU data and systems from unauthorized internal and external access.
Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.
Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
WFHRequired:
• Bachelor's degree in an I.T. related field or five years commensurate work experience in Information Security and/or Network Engineering.
• 2-4 years' experience as a Security Operations Analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Information Security certification (CEH or CISSP) or two or more years of Network Engineer experience.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, risk management, and threat detection techniques.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
• Experience with a vulnerability scanning tool.
• Knowledge of virus definitions and malware families.
• Experience with patching updates and CVE/Vulnerability review.
• Experienced with Microsoft Windows environment, including security configurations, event log analysis, and Active Directory security.
Preferred:
• Experience with compliance, financial industry regulations, and security frameworks.
• Programming and scripting experience related to cyber forensic investigations.
• Penetration testing experience.
• Forensic investigation experience.
Summary Pay Range
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $38.80 - $45.59.
The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
