Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a nonprofit organization to find a Vendor Operations Manager. As the Vendor Operations Manager, you will be the main point of contact for external partners and contractors while managing onboarding, compliance and payments. Leveraging your procurement background, you will oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, conduct financial reconciliations from a procurement perspective, and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses to optimize business spend. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience, proficient in Costpoint specifically Purchasing module and Excel, has a strong customer service demeanor and strong communication skills. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external suppliers and vendors while managing the contractor database, onboarding, renewals, and payments.
  • Facilitate micro-purchases, handle monthly credit card reconciliations, and assist with inventory and shipping coordination alongside Facilities.
  • Oversee file organization, track tax requirements, manage corporate subscriptions/renewals, and serve as a courier for government and embassy documentation.
  • Assist with updating company policies and procedures, including developing specialized analytical tools like Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tracking spreadsheets.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Deltek Costpoint- specifically Purchasing modules
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree is preferred
