Job description

The Junior Operations Analyst will engage in reporting to contribute to our growth and profitability, while ensuring company compliance and adherence to regulation, policy, and procedure. As part of the OM Auto team, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for basic gathering, analyzing, and organizing large quantities of data, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks, while clearly and efficiently reporting this information alongside identified opportunities to key internal stakeholders. This role requires a true champion for change; someone who can challenge the status quo by recognizing and communicating opportunities and executing on recommended corrective actions.

In the Role

  • Using various analytics tools and techniques to evaluate business opportunity and formulate solutions.
  • Compiling data from multiple sources, understanding key performance indicators, and identifying gaps or potential risks.
  • Validating and testing the processes used to identify and measure risks and compliance gaps of assigned business areas. When appropriate, this person will analyze the results of testing to present management with a recommendation for remediation.
  • Creating and maintaining reporting platforms to consistently communicate business performance.
  • Maintaining awareness of company policies and procedures, federal and state laws

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in analytics
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake for data analysis, reporting, and business insights

Preferred

  • 1+ years' experience in automotive finance
  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field
