Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, and the timely delivery of products to the market. This role leads a team of manufacturing staff, drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations, certifications and standards, collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals for internal and external customer expectations, and ensures quality in all products leaving the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and direct manufacturing operations to meet manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing technicians to build a high-performing team.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, on-time builds, manufacturing defects, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), downtime, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring safety is primary.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, finance, and supply chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize processes.
  • Represent manufacturing interests in design review meetings and leadership meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes to improve efficiency and cost reduction
  • Assures Quality in Products and uses quality systems including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Help to develop and manage manufacturing annual budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for improvements and savings.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Coordinate with Procurement on the need and timely delivery of materials necessary for manufacturing products.
  • Maintain a culture ofsafety,accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Prepare,maintain,and presentmanufacturingreports to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience), Master's degree Preferred.
  • Strong background in safety, compliance, and quality management.
  • Experienced in, or knowledge of robotics technology preferred.
  • 10+ year sof experience in manufacturing management and quality processes with progressive leadership responsibility and a proven track record of delivering commercial products, ideally into the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and manufacturing planning.
  • Proven track record of implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of harsh environmentproduct requirements preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the management of a portfolio of products is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software preferred. Experience with NetSuite a plus.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Quality Management Systems (ideally Arena QMS), with ISO-related standards/certification experience preferred.
  • Preference given for ISO 9001 implementation and/or operational experience.
  • DFM experience preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Requires standing, walking, occasional lifting, and variable temperature conditions.
  • Regular interaction with manufacturing staff, supervisors, engineering and technology development teams, and senior leadership.
  • May require occasional visits to field locations (in theUS.)
