We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Manufacturing and Supply Chain Enablement Senior Manager, to lead and oversee our contract manufacturing operations. This role is essential to ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business goals in our production processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Director - Global Supply Chain, the Contract Manufacturing and Supply Chain Enablement Senior Manager will manage relationships with external manufacturers, drive performance metrics, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency.


In addition, this role will also be responsible for implementing and optimizing supply chain processes and supporting systems and analytics that underpin a world class supply chain for UVEYE. This includes maintaining an awareness of emerging process and technology trends, maintaining alignment with stakeholders on a documented maturity roadmap, and implementing that roadmap with and through our internal and external teams to deliver consistent enterprise value while building capability for UVEYEโ€™s future and rolling strategic agenda.


A day in the life and how youโ€™ll make an impact:

  • Supplier Management: Oversee all contract manufacturing partnerships, ensuring alignment with UVeyeโ€™s operational standards and business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to evaluate the performance of contract manufacturers, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Product Delivery: Ensure our contract manufacturing partners deliver according to the agreed schedule, cost and quality.
  • QBR: Manage the quarterly business review process with our CM partners, covering cost, quality and all performance metrics, continuously driving improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and work collaboratively with suppliers to implement enhancements.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure that all contract-manufactured products meet regulatory requirements and UVeyeโ€™s quality standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage budgets and negotiate contracts to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to prevent disruptions in production.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing activities.
  • Capacity Planning: Assess and plan manufacturing capacity with contract manufacturers to meet current and future demand.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste within the contract manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Material Purchasing: support the business need and purchase material for ECO, FCO
  • Establish consistent standard work processes across the supply chain, and organize communities of practices that maintain and continuously improve UVEYEโ€™s documented processes and leverage of systems and analytics. Requirements:
  • Experience: 8 years in contract manufacturing or supply chain management within a multidisciplinary, high-tech environment, including 3 years in leadership positions.
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • Technical Edge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and material purchasing (ECO/FCO). Advanced knowledge of enterprise software configuration & use; proven ability to learn new systems quickly. Advanced knowledge of analytics tools and development, including data engineering and visualization.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing external supplier performance via data-driven KPIs.
  • Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior management, cross-functional teams and external partners. Demonstrated ability to lead from positions of influence in a matrix environment, both operationally and project/change-related. Demonstrated ability to educate and align cross-functional teams on cross-functional solutions.
  • Certifications: APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are highly preferred. Experience implementing lean principles and tools across the supply chain.
  • Mobility: Readiness to travel up to 20% to visit manufacturing sites and ensure excellence on the ground.


Bonus if you have:

  • Broad supply chain domain experience, including operational & continuous improvement experience across industries, and across process areas (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics, Customer Service).
  • Familiarity with customer and supplier collaboration approaches and tools, including: supplier portals, EDI, and collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment (CPFR).
  • Familiarity with digital transformation specific to ERPโ€™s supply graph maintenance - readiness for advanced planning and scheduling, product lifecycle planning, target costing, sustainability reporting, and tier 2+ planning.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience, identifying needs and delivering solutions.

Physical Requirements:

This role may involve on-site or field-based activities. Depending on the position, tasks may include extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking; working in and around vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouse environments; and performing occasional manual tasks such as lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs, bending, or reaching. UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000.
