Job description

We are representing a globally recognized Industrial Manufacturing organization who is actively seeking Quality Manager at their flagship operation. This company has experienced record profitability with 10% Year over Year over Year revenue growth. The General Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!



POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Candidate will report to the Plant Manager while leading a department of (3 direct reports) and having a strong working relationship with the Director of Quality
  • Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
  • Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different department
  • Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals
  • Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
  • Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues
  • Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
  • Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing

POSITION REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for Engineering/technical field)
  • Candidate should be Plant/Operations driven Quality Leader with strong background in Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving
  • Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of Quality leadership experience within highly regulated environment
