Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICES (MCCS) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties

  • You will serve as the senior analyst developing scheduled and unscheduled inspections of all activities by performing audit of accounting records, cash handling transactions, purchasing, and direct delivery and receiving documents.
  • You will conduct on-site investigations and inquiries into complaints of error, waste, and deviation from established policies and fraud in operational, financial, and accounting areas.
  • You will design site audit plans where and when thee is a high probability of significant findings, modify when changes to design a new approach determined from the preliminary finds.
  • You will recommend and explain change requirements to facilitate management buy in for reprogram operations.
  • You will conduct an internal control training class and on-site assistance to program managers related to financial record keeping and quality control reviews.
  • You will report cost benefits and return on investment (ROI) results gained from implementation of new processes.
  • You will approve leave, evaluate performance, counsel assigned personnel, recommends staffing levels, and/or select personnel for hire.
  • You will advise managers on methods for improving efficiencies by developing new or modify existing processes and procedure.
  • You will represent at briefings and meetings to a diverse audience to influence, implement findings, recommendations, and validate the organizations objectives.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Apply auditing and analytical methods to evaluate revenue accounting efficiency and compliance policies, procedures, and regulations ; managing budgets, funding appropriations, and procurement actions; leading studies to improve organizational productivity and documenting operational changes; oversee the planning, scheduling, and executing of projects concerned with the analysis and evaluation of program initiatives to meet mission objectives..
