Job description

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor programs and systems such as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS);
  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates all maintenance activities, both planned and reactive work, upon approval of management to ensure all work order are completed within the required timeframe;
  • Develop work plans for maintenance (PM, and Corrective work) with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assigning and execution of maintenance work through the use of the CMMS program;
  • Perform purchasing duties, as required, ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and 7/24 requirements for maintenance with required approvals;
  • Lead the review of the previous job completion results, other maintenance activities and Daily/weekly/monthly meetings. Plans should be adjusted accordingly based upon scheduled work, scheduled work completion and break in work;
  • Ensure the revision and updating of maintenance documentation and/or Training" occurs as necessary;
  • Evaluate job feedback and makes recommendations to improve future planned work on equipment;
  • Calculate planned work, based on open work with priorities, and forecasted available labour hours;
  • Provide and lead the team with the required training for the CMMS;
  • Review reports, and specifications trial documentation related to maintenance activities;
  • Prepare documentation of comparison of specifications and agreements for Management review and approval;
  • Conduct quality assurance data integrity checks on parts and assets and provides feedback;
  • Follow all Company health and safety policies and procedures and work in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act;
  • All other duties as assigned.
