About this role:

The Manufacturing Manager leads the manufacturing engineering processes and their execution on the floor at a Carrier manufacturing facility. This role ensures processes are capable, efficient, safe and standardized, driving productivity and cost improvements while supporting the industrialization of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages manufacturing processes to ensure capability, efficiency, repeatability and standardization.

  • Leads the manufacturing engineering team in process, tooling and line improvements.

  • Drives productivity, cost-reduction and automation projects.

  • Ensures successful product industrialization together with NPI and Quality.

  • Applies Lean tools (VSM, standard work, kaizen) to eliminate waste.

  • Provides technical support to operations to achieve the build plan.

  • Owns process documentation, FMEAs and control plans.

  • Accountable for manufacturing KPIs, including productivity, quality, cost, safety, and capacity.

  • Coaches and develops manufacturing engineers and technicians.

  • Drives the execution of manufacturing strategy and supports capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives.

  • Oversees manufacturing readiness assessments for new product introductions (NPI), production line transfers, and process changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 6+ years of manufacturing engineering or manufacturing management experience, including team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven ability to develop capable, standardized and efficient manufacturing processes.

  • Strong knowledge of process documentation, FMEAs, control plans and standard work.

  • Hands-on experience with Lean tools (VSM, standard work, kaizen) and productivity/cost-reduction projects.

  • Experience supporting product industrialization together with NPI and Quality.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineers and technicians.

  • Experience with line launches and transfers.

  • Lean / Six Sigma certification.

  • Experience leading technical teams.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
