The Royal Caribbean Group's Onboard Deployment & Destination Strategy team has an exciting career opportunity for a full Senior Analyst, Deployment & Destination Strategy reporting to the Manager, Deployment Strategy & Projects.
Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for leading deployment optimization efforts, with a strong focus on advancing automated deployment tools and enhancing reporting capabilities for the Deployment Strategy & Projects team. The senior analyst will play a major role in supporting destination development projects through strategy initiatives, volume forecasting, and tools. The Senior Analyst will collaborate to design, build, and optimize technology-driven solutions that enable faster, more agile deployment decisions and improve the accuracy and sophistication of volume projections supporting development project business cases.
This role plays a critical function during the transition to a more technology-driven operating model, driving innovation in how deployment planning is executed. The Senior Analyst will proactively identify opportunities to enhance analytical frameworks, improve process efficiency, and scale deployment capabilities through automation and advanced data solutions.
The individual in this role must demonstrate a willingness to learn PowerBI, Python and SQL, and will lead our destination development project work from a deployment perspective. They will operate with a high degree of autonomy while closely with management to shape the team's analytical roadmap and project work. The Senior Analyst will partner cross-functionally with Data Science, Revenue Management, OBR, Deployment, and other internal teams to integrate complex data sets, influence decision-making, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that support strategic business priorities. This role is expected to own key workstreams, lead project forecasting, and drive continuous improvement across deployment planning processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead deployment optimization analyses, including scenario modeling and tradeoff evaluation, to support data-driven recommendations for destination and itinerary decisions.
  • Enhance automation tools that streamline deployment planning, improve decision speed, and increase process scalability across the team.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide clear visibility into deployment performance, planning assumptions, and strategic opportunities.
  • Use Python, SQL, and reporting platforms to solve complex business problems, automate recurring analyses, and deliver scalable data solutions for deployment planning.
  • Integrate, validate, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources to build reliable datasets that support deployment decisions and destination development initiatives.
  • Forecast passenger volume for future destinations and development projects, strengthening the business cases that support investment and deployment decisions.
  • Lead the implementation of new analytical tools and planning solutions by coordinating testing, validating outputs, and helping drive adoption across deployment workflows.
  • Document methodologies, data definitions, assumptions, and reporting logic to ensure consistency, transparency, and long-term scalability of analytical products.
  • Partner closely with Deployment, Data Science, Revenue Management, OBR, and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements, validate outputs, and influence high-quality deployment decisions.

Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Analytics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, scenario analyses, and business recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts and analytical findings clearly to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Business acumen and the ability to connect analytical outputs to operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and continuous-improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance processes and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, build credibility, and influence partners at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while taking ownership of work and driving projects forward independently.
