SCHEDULE:ย This position is based on a scheduleย ofย Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; however, based on client needs you willย be requiredย toย work days, evenings,ย and/or weekends if necessary to complete tasks.ย ย

The Director of Sales leads the sales function to drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategy,ย managing,ย and coaching theย Account Executiveย team,ย building,ย and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver winning proposals and exceptional client experiences.ย

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    ย ย Own and execute the local and national sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets for destination management services. ย Manage, coach, and developย Accountย Executives through goal setting, pipeline reviews, and performance feedback. ย Support Account Executive on site visits andย engage withย clients during programย operation. ย Join Account Executive during key moments of hotel relationship development including but not limited to lunch meetings, offsite experiences, FAMs. ย Establishย personalย relationships with key leaders at area hotels, nurture and grow relationshipsย throughout. ย Review Account Executive forecasts and ensureย timelyย closing of business,ย receipt of deposits and finalย payments. ย Communication with General Manager and other Discipline Leaders to ensure continuity, clarity and adherence to office and company objectives.ย
