Account Executive - Tucson, AZ.

Destination Management Company

Position Overview:

The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue by developing and managing client relationships for high-end leisure, corporate, and group travel programs in Tucson. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, the resort and internal operations team, ensuring the seamless execution of DMC services.
The Account Executive leads the sales and development process for events and programs, including lead generation, client site inspections, program scoping, budget development, and contracting. Working in close collaboration with the operations team, this role supports each program from initial concept through final execution to ensure exceptional client experiences and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the hotel account.
  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections and client presentations.
  • Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and pricing structures aligned with client needs and company profitability goals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts/hotel.
  • Build long-term relationships with event planners and corporate clients as well as hotel contacts.
  • Understand client preferences and proactively recommend curated destination experiences.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of sales or account management experience in luxury hospitality, DMC, or high-end travel sector.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-touch accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft office.
