Job description

Destination Planner amp; Concierge
Vacation Experience | Reporting to: Destination Manager | Kohala Coast, HI
About Inspirato
At Inspirato, we believe extraordinary travel should be effortless. We are a luxury destination club built on the pillars: Certainty, Care, and Value while delivering curated experiences that consistently exceed expectations for our members.
We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across everything we do โ€” in our workplace, our business, our marketing, and the causes we support. Our team spans ages, abilities, cultures, races, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations. We donโ€™t just embrace those differences; we celebrate them.
The Role
The Destination Planner amp; Concierge owns the end-to-end member experience at Inspirato's luxury residences โ€” from pre-trip planning and itinerary delivery to hands-on property inspections and vendor coordination โ€” while ensuring every home meets brand standards for quality, safety, and appearance. Success in this role requires a passion for luxury service, pride in operational rigor, and meticulous attention to detail, along with disciplined adherence to SOPs and a proactive approach to residential property care.
What You'll Do
1. Pre-Trip Planning amp; Preparation
  • Build and review itineraries, maintain constant communication with members, and provide expert destination insights to ensure all guest needs are met before arrival.
  • Review member profiles, coordinate with the team, stock and stage the home, finalize the itinerary, and inspect the property ahead of arrival.
2. Guest Experience amp; On-Site Service
  • Greet guests, confirm schedules, deliver groceries, manage on-call needs, perform daily check-ins, oversee housekeeping, and track incidentals throughout the stay.
  • Present the folio at departure, assist with transportation, send a thank-you note, inspect for damage, begin turnover, and submit a recap highlighting the stay.
  • Deliver luxury in every interaction โ€” guest service, communication, and home presentation โ€” with consistent, high-touch attention from planning through departure.
3. Property Oversight amp; Maintenance
  • Execute all SOPs and checklists, lead detailed property inspections, and ensure ongoing maintenance, cleanliness, and asset readiness.
  • Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to emergency needs, perform light repairs (filters, bulbs, paint, drains, etc.), and handle storm preparation.
  • Oversee property-related projects with clear timelines, ensuring quality and timely completion.
4. Service Standards amp; Continuous Improvement
  • Own every detail โ€” from staging to inspections to itinerary delivery โ€” with pride, care, and precision.
  • Stay proactive and consistent, anticipating member needs to create seamless, high-touch experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Lead all maintenance, staging, and inspections with the rigor needed to meet brand and aesthetic standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to interact with affluent clientele and consistently deliver on high expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in hospitality management or business administration.
  • Hospitality and guest service experience, including solid knowledge of the local area.
  • Honest, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, caring, and fun.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both employees and members.
  • Highly organized with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and listening skills.
  • Upbeat, positive disposition with a genuine "can do" attitude.
  • Proficient with communication technology (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and chat applications).
  • Flexible schedule, including long days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $28.00
We build compensation structures that reflect comparable market rates for companies of similar size, revenue, and geography, while recognizing individual experience, performance, and demonstrated capability.
Why Inspirato
We are building a high-performing Vacation Experience team centered on accountability, hospitality excellence, and continuous improvement. Our Destination Planners amp; Concierges are empowered to create unforgettable stays for our members while representing one of the most distinctive luxury travel brands in the industry.
At Inspirato, integrity, attitude, curiosity, and reliability matter as much as talent and drive. If you're passionate about hospitality, luxury travel, and creating seamless member experiences, we'd love to meet you.
Equal Opportunity Employer
We are passionately committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all we doโ€”within our workplace, through our business initiatives, in our marketing efforts, and in the causes we support. As an innovator in the industry, we recognize the valuable role diverse perspectives play in keeping us at the forefront of our business. Together, we span ages, abilities, cultures, races, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations. We not only embrace those differences; we celebrate them.
Inspirato is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
Application deadline: All applications are due by 5pm MDT, September 23rd, 2026
