We provide exceptional catering, private chef services, corporate events, weddings, social celebrations, and full-service event production throughout the Greater Houston area.

We're looking for a driven, well-connected hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing high-value events.


Position Summary

The Catering Sales Executive is responsible for generating new catering business through networking, prospecting, referrals, venue partnerships, and relationship management.

This is an independent, commission-only position designed for experienced hospitality sales professionals who are confident in developing their own pipeline while representing a premium luxury brand.


Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified leads for corporate catering, weddings, galas, nonprofit events, private dinners, and social celebrations.
  • Build relationships with event planners, venue managers, executive assistants, HR professionals, and community organizations.
  • Attend networking events and represent Southern Cadence Cuisine professionally.
  • Conduct sales calls and client consultations.
  • Prepare proposals and collaborate with our culinary and operations teams to develop customized event experiences.
  • Follow up with leads promptly and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects and sales activity within our CRM.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Southern Cadence Cuisine.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hospitality or catering sales experience (required).
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Existing network within the Houston hospitality or corporate event market is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional appearance and polished presentation.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation for client meetings and networking events.

Compensation

This is a 100% commission-based position.
