We are currently searching for a Regional Hotel Maintenance Manager for Hospitality Management Corporation.
The Regional Hotel Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance, facilities, and life-safety operations across a portfolio of hotels within an assigned region. This role ensures all properties are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and operating efficiently while supporting property-level maintenance teams and hotel leadership. The position requires frequent travel, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead and support multiple properties simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Oversight & Leadership
  • Oversee maintenance operations for multiple hotels within a 41-property portfolio
  • Provide direct support, guidance, and training to property-level Maintenance Engineers and Directors of Maintenance
  • Serve as a technical and operational resource for General Managers and regional leadership
  • Assist with hiring, on-boarding, performance management, and development of maintenance staff

Preventive Maintenance & Repairs
  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs are consistently executed across all properties
  • Identify recurring maintenance issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Perform hands-on repairs and troubleshooting when needed, especially for complex or critical issues
  • Review and standardize maintenance procedures and best practices

Capital Projects & Vendor Management
  • Support capital improvement projects (renovations, major equipment replacements, brand initiatives)
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and inspectors
  • Review bids, scopes of work, and invoices to ensure quality and cost control
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Compliance & Life Safety
  • Ensure all hotels comply with brand standards, local/state/federal regulations, and safety requirements
  • Oversee fire, life-safety, OSHA, pool/spa, elevator, and environmental compliance
  • Assist hotels with brand inspections, audits, and follow-up action plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Budgeting & Asset Protection
  • Assist with development and management of maintenance budgets
  • Monitor utility usage and recommend energy-saving initiatives
  • Protect company assets by ensuring proper care, maintenance, and replacement planning
  • Reduce downtime and emergency repairs through proactive maintenance

Reporting & Communication
  • Provide regular reports on property conditions, risks, and maintenance performance
  • Communicate effectively with corporate leadership and hotel management teams
  • Travel regularly to assigned hotels to conduct site visits and inspections

Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of hotel or multi-property maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or large facilities portfolios
  • Ability to travel frequently (including overnight stays)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred
  • Prior regional or multi-property leadership experience
  • Experience with branded hotels (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, etc.)
  • HVAC, EPA Universal, CPO, or other relevant certifications
  • Experience managing capital projects and renovations

Physical & Work Requirements
  • 85% Travel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in mechanical rooms, and perform hands-on repairs
  • Flexible schedule, including nights or weekends as needed for emergencies
