DC Unarmed Licensed Security Officer ($26.22/hr)

Securemedy is currently hiring Licensed Security Officers to support a private security program in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A strong command presence
  • Excellent observational and reporting skills
  • Professional communication abilities
  • Integrity and reliability under pressure

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Monitor and control facility access points
  • Screen visitors using:
    • Handheld magnetometers
    • Walk-through metal detectors
    • X-ray screening equipment
  • Observe and report safety or security concerns
  • Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports
  • Provide professional customer service to visitors and staff

Note: Prolonged sitting and standing may be required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Licensed Unarmed Security Officer
  • Handcuff Certification
  • Baton Certification
  • OC/Spray Certification
  • FA/CPR/AED Certification
