Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager

Salary: $180,000 โ€“ $240,000 + Discretionary Bonus


Midtown NYC Office


Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote per week


Job Summary:


A national growing law firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead and elevate the firm's marketing and client development initiatives. Reporting directly to the firm's Management Committee and working closely with practice group leaders and attorneys, this individual will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that generate measurable revenue growth and strengthen client relationships.


This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable advising firm leadership on growth strategy and personally building compelling pitch materials, presentations, marketing campaigns, and client development programs.


What You'll Do:


  • Partner with firm leadership to develop and execute firm-wide and practice-specific business development strategies.
  • Lead pitch preparation and client meeting strategy, including research, talking points, and follow-up plans.
  • Develop sophisticated pitch decks, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, capability statements, practice descriptions, attorney biographies, and client-facing collateral.
  • Establish and maintain firm branding standards across all communications and materials.
  • Manage the firm's website, attorney bios, social media presence, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage CRM and marketing technology platforms to ensure data integrity, campaign effectiveness, and reporting accuracy.


What You Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing and business development experience.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives, partners, and key decision makers.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Canvas.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or comparable marketing technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems, SEO fundamentals, email marketing, and digital analytics.
