Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., a dynamic and rapidly growing mid-sized law firm, is looking to add a full-time Marketing Specialist to join the firm’s Hackensack, New Jersey headquarters. The position reports directly to the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer and Marketing & Business Development Manager and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s strategic marketing and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with experience in law firm marketing.

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer and Marketing & Business Development Manager to support the firm's marketing and business development initiatives to enhance the firm's visibility, strengthen client relationships, and drive growth.

• Assist in overseeing the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant, with appropriate delegation of tasks and coordination of day-to-day activities.

• Manage and execute the firm’s social media strategy and content calendar, including overseeing the creation, editing, and posting of content across multiple platforms, to manage, grow, and enhance the firm’s existing web and social media presence. •Manage and maintain the firm’s website, including updates and revisions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency, while optimizing SEO and GEO efforts.

• Coordinate and facilitate firm-hosted events, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, promotional materials, and on-site support.

• Identify, coordinate, and manage sponsorships, memberships, and networking opportunities aligned with the firm’s marketing and business development goals.

• Support the coordination and preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other client pitches and presentations, including background and market research to assist attorneys in pitches and proposals.

• Prepare and update marketing and business development materials for the firm, practice areas, and individual attorneys.

• Coordinate and prepare award submissions and rankings, including Chambers, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Law360, and the New Jersey Law Journal.

• Support internal and external communications, including internal newsletters, press releases, client alerts, blogs, and media materials.

• Maintain and leverage the firm’s CRM system by updating, organizing, and managing data to enhance reporting, targeting, and business development outcomes.

• Compile data and assist in preparing analytics and insights related to marketing and business development initiatives to measure effectiveness and inform strategy.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in marketing, communications and business development, including experience and proficiency in the areas outlined above.

• Law firm experience strongly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.

• Resourceful, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in drafting and editing marketing content, proposals, and client-facing materials, as well as strong proofreading skills.

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with relevant software and platforms such as social media platforms (Zoho Social, Constant Contact), CRM systems (Nexl), SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and Zoom.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Superior organizational and project management skills and a high level of attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to grasp and implement new concepts quickly.

• Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes in support of evolving marketing and business development strategies.


Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible working arrangements, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching, available after six months of employment.
