What You'll Do
Marketing & Communications
  • Manage the firm's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and performance reporting.
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate firm communications, including news releases, client alerts, invitations, and announcements.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral such as attorney biographies, practice descriptions, pitch materials, brochures, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
  • Plan and coordinate firm-sponsored events, seminars, receptions, conferences, and community initiatives from planning through follow-up.
  • Manage sponsorship and charitable contribution activities, including requests, forms, advertising coordination, logo usage, attendee participation, and tracking commitments.

Business Development
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of RFPs, RFIs, pitches, and other business development proposals.
  • Support attorneys in preparing presentations and materials for client meetings, speaking engagements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct market, industry, competitor, and client research to support strategic growth efforts and client development initiatives.
  • Support client feedback and experience programs, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Operations & Strategic Initiatives
  • Maintain the department's project management system and coordinate marketing calendars, deadlines, events, and workflows.
  • Support firmwide strategic initiatives, including cross-selling efforts, client targeting, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing use of approved AI and legal technology tools that enhance marketing and business development efforts.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools; experience with Asana is a plus.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI tools and legal technology platforms.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and client-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with attorneys, firm leadership, and administrative teams.
