Position Summary:
TheDepartment of Management in the Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business at theUniversity of Northern Colorado is seeking an adjunct faculty withspecialization in Hospitality and Event Management and related subjects.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in hospitality management, event management, or a closely related field.
  • Qualified to teach undergraduate courses in hospitality management, event management, and related subjects.
  • Demonstrated record or potential for teaching excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, nurture, and expand programs within the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry experience in hospitality or event management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, and service.
  • Experience with experiential and active learning methods in a collegiate environment.
  • Familiarity with program development and course design in hospitality and event management.
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in teaching in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities using a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Knowledgeable about culturally responsive pedagogical techniques and effective practices for diverse learners.
