Job description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

The maintenance/Materials planner will work primarily in the Maintenance department. They will also work and communicate with members of the production and office departments as well.

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Planner’s primary objective is to ensure maintenance technicians have the tools and parts to complete work orders. The maintenance planner will manage inventory and work closely with the Maintenance Manager and vendors to receive quotes and establish orders for parts. The maintenance planner will also utilize the existing CMMS software for inventory and work orders. This position will work closely with members of the maintenance department as well as production employees.

REPORTS TO:

Maintenance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: The maintenance planner will work closely with the maintenance department and members of production. This position will primarily work to ensure inventory levels are adequate, parts are available for work orders, and work orders are complete. Responsibilities will also include receiving materials and organizing materials. The maintenance planner will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to continue to build and manage the CMMS software. Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

EXPERIENCE:

•2-4 years of experience preferred

•Previous work in maintenance preferred

•Familiarity of foundry operation

•Familiarity of CMMS software systems

KNOWLEDGE:

•High school diploma or GED required

•Moderate use of Microsoft Office

SKILLS:

•Use of forklifts and scissor lifts

•Detail-oriented and have critical thinking abilities

•Desire to work both independently or with a team

The base salary $25.00 per hour range represents the anticipated $52,000 per year range for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, actual compensation may vary and will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to, the applicant’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors. Isolatek International reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on company and personal performance.
