Position Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet customer demand while optimizing operational efficiency and inventory accuracy. This role works closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to balance demand, maintain inventory levels, and ensure the timely delivery of finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and production deadlines.
  • Coordinate manufacturing resources to ensure efficient, on-time production.
  • Balance production demand, inventory levels, and available resources.
  • Partner with inventory control to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
  • Analyze production and shipping data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and production supplies.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to minimize production bottlenecks.
  • Communicate production schedules, updates, and changes to key stakeholders.
  • Support engineering changes, new product launches, and customer build schedules.
