BAE Systems is looking for an experienced professional to join an integrated production and aftermarket MRO planning team. The Business Integration Planner is responsible for production schedule management, aftermarket demand planning activity, inventory management and leading Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP). Additionally, they will measure, report, and develop correct actions to meet customer requirements and maintain KPI's at acceptable levels.
Responsibilities include:
  • Promote a culture of 100% quality and safety
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, support and develop sales expectation summary (SIOP)
  • Assess, interpret, and maintain accurate master demand to meet customer and business commitments
  • Release Work in Process (WIP) according to schedule plan and ensure product compliance through Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance
  • Communicate and status priorities throughout shop
  • Ensure demand strategy for each part is aligned with supply chain and program expectations, and escalate supply needs for appropriate visibility
  • Lead and support used asset management processes
  • Drive appropriate inventory levels and support accuracy initiatives and manage Point of Use (POU)

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree or 4 + years of relevent experience to the position
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office
  • Problem-solving, analytical, mathematical skills, and attention to detail. Good planning, time management and organization skills
  • Ability to anticipate and drive resolution to issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working with varied work teams across various functional areas
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required
  • Physically able to walk long distances and lift up to 35lbs
  • A fundamental understanding of constraints such as space, capacities, materials movement, material presentation, and flow

Preferred Skills and Education
  • MRP - Planning experience in a production environment
  • MRO - Repair station material demand planning experience
  • Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
  • Oracle (MRP / Inventory Management Proficiency)
  • Ability to develop tools and process to streamline data collection and analysis
