Our client is seeking an experienced CMMS Planner/Scheduler to support preventive-maintenance planning and calibration scheduling within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience using Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (Blue Mountain RAM) and a strong understanding of calibration and maintenance workflows. During the six-month assignment, the role may shift from general CMMS preventive-maintenance planning toward increased support for calibration scheduling and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use Blue Mountain RAM to plan, schedule, track, and maintain preventive-maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Create, update, and manage work orders, asset records, maintenance plans, calibration schedules, and related CMMS data.
  • Develop weekly and long-range maintenance and calibration schedules based on equipment criticality, operational needs, resource availability, and due dates.
  • Coordinate planned work with Engineering, Maintenance, Metrology/Calibration, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and external service providers.
  • Review upcoming and overdue activities and proactively address scheduling risks.
  • Ensure work packages include the necessary procedures, parts, tools, documentation, permits, and resource requirements.
  • Support calibration scheduling for GMP equipment, instruments, utilities, and facility systems.
  • Monitor work-order completion, schedule compliance, backlog, overdue activities, and other relevant performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and inspection-ready CMMS records in accordance with applicable procedures and good documentation practices.
  • Assist with CMMS data cleanup, asset hierarchy maintenance, record reconciliation, and continuous process improvement.
  • Support investigations and follow-up activities related to missed, overdue, or out-of-tolerance calibration events, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Direct hands-on experience with Blue Mountain RAM in a maintenance, calibration, metrology, or asset-management environment.
  • Experience planning or scheduling preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of GMP requirements and good documentation practices.
  • Understanding of equipment and instrument calibration programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive due dates.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, engineers, operations personnel, Quality, and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience scheduling calibration activities for GMP manufacturing equipment, laboratory instruments, utilities, or facility systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration frequencies, tolerances, standards, certificates, and out-of-tolerance events.
  • Experience supporting CMMS master-data management, asset records, job plans, and maintenance metrics.
  • Experience working in a radiopharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing facility.
  • Technical degree or training in engineering technology, maintenance, instrumentation, metrology, or a related discipline.
