The Penske Maintenance Analytics team is seeking a Senior Maintenance Analyst to drive business outcomes through high-impact data analytics. This role leads and contributes to the development of analytical solutions and data products, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, automated insights.
The role requires strong operational acumen and the ability to work across complex data and analytics ecosystems, including on-premises and cloud-based platforms (AWS). The ideal candidate will excel at data querying and analysis, data modeling, and the development of reports and dashboards that enable confident, data-driven decision-making. Proficiency with Python, SQL, Excel, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and similar analytics and visualization tools is essential. Experience spanning both cloud and on-prem technology stacks, with disciplined tool selection, is preferred. Foundational knowledge of geospatial and statistical analysis is beneficial.
This position is based at our Corporate offices in a scenic country setting, 7 miles south of Reading, PA, offering a convenient commute with ample free parking.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to translate operational needs into clear, actionable analytics requirements
  • Partner with business, IT, data engineering, and product teams to define scope, delivery approach, and data governance
  • Design and deliver medium-complexity automation leveraging Power Platform, SQL Server integrations, Python, IBM DB2, Oracle, and AWS data services
  • Define logical data requirements and produce validation plans, QA evidence, and transition artifacts for engineering and product delivery
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Own recurring reporting, dashboards, metric refreshes, and ad-hoc analytical requests
  • Collaborate effectively with internal development teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and technical strategy
  • Apply adaptable, innovative problem-solving approaches to evolving business challenges
  • Follow best practices for managing, analyzing, and scaling large data sets

Technical Skillset:
  • Advanced SQL, including CTEs, joins, window functions, data profiling, and QA queries across SQL Server and AWS environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Python, PySpark, or similar languages for analytics, data engineering, and modeling
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform components, including forms, workflows, approvals, and data capture
  • Experience with SQL Server integrations, scheduled refreshes, and production handoff documentation
  • Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud technologies; ESRI/ArcGIS concepts where applicable
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft productivity tools
