Job description


Finacle- an industry leading digital banking solution suite from EdgeVerve Systems. Finacle helps traditional and emerging financial institutions drive truly digital transformation to achieve frictionless customer experiences, larger ecosystem play, insights-driven interactions and ubiquitous automation.
We are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to support and manage the Finacle platform on AWS. The role involves cloud infrastructure management, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD automation, monitoring, production support, and platform reliability across non-production and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support Finacle deployments on AWS.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Amazon EKS/Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
  • Implement deployment strategies such as Canary, Blue-Green, and Rolling Deployments.
  • Manage Docker-based containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based release processes.
  • Perform configuration management using Ansible.
  • Configure and manage AWS services including EKS, IAM, ALB, S3, EC2, and CloudWatch.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive service restoration.
  • Manage security controls, IAM policies, credential rotations, and Istio certificates.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management using Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks in Confluence.

Required Skills
  • 4-7 years of experience in AWS Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker, Git, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts including HPA, Cluster Autoscaler, and deployment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
  • Experience managing production incidents and supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and access management.
  • Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Finacle or Banking platforms.
  • Knowledge of Istio or Service Mesh technologies.
  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
