This position is intended for a technically strong network or systems professional who can support, modernize, and standardize BAS-related infrastructure while enabling long-term scalability, and cloud integration.
While familiarity with BAS platforms and building controls is helpful, extensive BAS experience is not required for this position. The organization will provide structured BAS training, vendor-led coursework, and on-the-job training (OJT) alongside experienced BAS professionals. • Support the creation of repeatable templates and standards to improve consistency across BAS deployments.

Visualization & Data Readiness
  • Assist with the creation of dashboards or visual representations of system health, connectivity, and infrastructure status.
  • Support data normalization and readiness for integration with analytics, monitoring, or energy management platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify meaningful metrics and visualizations for operational awareness.

Cloud & Evergreen Development
  • Support planning and early-stage implementation for cloud integration using platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Assist with evaluating hybrid architectures that connect on-prem BAS systems to cloud services securely.
  • Support evergreen development practices by helping transition from static, one-off deployments to scalable and maintainable architectures.
  • Assist with future-state roadmaps for BAS modernization and cloud readiness.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
  • Work alongside BAS engineers, technicians, and vendors to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with enterprise IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure BAS systems align with organizational standards and policies.
