Job Description

We are currently seeking:

-          1 Entry-level General Maintenance Engineer (overnight availability is required)

-          1 Mid-Level General Maintenance Engineer

The General Maintenance Engineer is primarily responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, public area, meeting spaces, and back of house facilities.

Responsibilities will include routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems and equipment. Depending on experience, duties may range from preventative maintenance and repairs to more advanced work involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, laundry, and other facility equipment. Engineers may perform repairs and maintenance up to and including work requiring intermediate technical knowledge and demonstrated experience in these areas.

The General Maintenance Engineer helps ensure a safe, function, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members. This position regularly interacts with guests and must maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor, as these interactions have a direct impact on the overall guest experience.

Must have availability for both AM, PM, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary

Starting hourly rate is $23.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Qualifications 

       1 - 5 years of maintenance experience required

       Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred

       Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.)

       Refined communication skills

       Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time

       Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
