About the roleWe are a growing criminal defense firm in Fort Worth seeking an experienced legal intake professional to own our client acquisition process from first contact to hire. This is a role with performance-based compensation for someone who understands the legal intake process deeply and wants to bring structure, accountability, and results to it.You'll be the first voice prospective clients hear " often at the most stressful moment of their lives. Your ability to guide them through that moment, build trust quickly, and help them take the right next step is central to everything we do.What you'll doManage all inbound intake calls from prospective criminal defense clientsAssess case viability, communicate the firm's value, and guide prospects toward retaining the firmFollow up on leads who did not sign after the initial consultationMaintain intake records and pipeline data in the firm's CRMIdentify opportunities to improve intake scripts, workflows, and conversion ratesCoordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth case handoffs after signingWhat we're looking forPrior experience in legal intake or a client-facing role at a law firmStrong understanding of the criminal defense client experienceExcellent communication skills: You can be both empathetic and direct in the same conversationOrganized and detail-oriented: You track follow-ups and nothing falls through the cracksGoal-orientedYou understand that intake is a results-driven function, not just administrativeCompensationBase salary of $60,000, plus performance-based compensation tied to cases signed.
