Job Description:
At Job Duck, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Intake Administrator to support a busy appellate law practice. This role is essential to ensuring every prospective client interaction is handled with professionalism, clarity, and care from the very first contact. You will manage intake communications, collect and organize critical information, and help maintain smooth internal workflows that support attorneys and legal operations. Your work will directly influence client satisfaction, case readiness, and overall efficiency. This position is well suited for someone who values structure, communicates confidently, and takes pride in delivering high quality legal support.
Compensation Range: $1,142 to $1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate follow ups and maintain timely communication with prospective clients
  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients via phone and email
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with legal standards
  • Support attorneys by preparing intake summaries and organizing documentation
  • Assess basic eligibility and route matters appropriately
  • Accurately document inquiries and client details in internal systems
  • Conduct initial intake interviews and collect relevant case information

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a legal intake or similar role
