As a Lab Supervisor, you'll play a vital role supporting safe and compliant hazardous waste operations by performing routine laboratory testing and analysis. This is a great opportunity for hands-on, detail-oriented individuals with a strong interest in chemistry who want stable, weekly pay and the chance to work in an essential, safety-focused industry. Whether you're early in your lab career or bringing practical lab experience to the table, this role offers consistency, learning, and impact.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine analytical testing on hazardous waste and chemical samples
  • Conduct testing such as pH, moisture content, oxidation, titration, and calorimetry
  • Process daily waste samples, including fuel compatibility, GC analysis and metal analysis
  • Calibrate laboratory instruments daily (pH meters, calorimeters, GC-MS, GC-FID, etc.)
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and support repair of laboratory equipment as needed
  • Follow all EHS regulations, EPA testing methods, and internal safety policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety laboratory environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?
  • High school diploma required, with a strong foundation in science or chemistry
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team
  • Willing to work in an industrial laboratory setting and handle hazardous materials using PPE
  • Ability to wear a face respirator when required
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • College coursework or a degree in a science-related field is a plus
