Job description

WORK OBJECTIVE Provides technical support for all City departments not limited to implementation, configuration, upgrade, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration of server technology software and hardware infrastructure. Performs complex business analyses and project management work facilitating and ensuring efficient systems integration efforts across all City systems. Work is performed under direction with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.

To view full job description, please click on the job title: Senior IT Systems Analyst MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field; supplemented by five or more years' progressively responsible experience in developing, integrating, implementing, analyzing, and maintaining information technologies and applications, preferably in a governmental or similar institutional environment; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience. Professional industry certification(s) preferred: VMWare, MCSE, SQL, Cisco, ITIL or other professional IT Certifications.

Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Professional industry certification(s) preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In order to move on to the next phase of the application screening process, you must attach proof of education.
