Job description

Essential Functions:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Field and troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to appropriate team member or group for future resolution
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software; build, set-up, and deploy computers and other company devices for users and new employees
  • Reset credentials for email, computers, ERP systems, and other applications
  • Assist users both on-site and via remote connections
  • Contact and work with outside vendors for service as instructed by management
  • Order and maintain supplies as needed for production and maintain on-hand inventory of supplies for assigned sites and report to management
  • Report recurring/common issues to higher management during weekly meetings and identify outstanding issues
  • Assist users’ technical needs for all business tasks including reporting, navigating websites/software and configuring business devices

  • Experience working and supporting users via ticketing systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with network protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with the following is a plus but not required: Connectwise Suite, ERP systems, Zebra hardware, and introductory IT certifications (Comp TIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, etc.)

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)
  • Rotating on-call

Compensation:

  • $26.00 - $28.00/hour

Physical Demands:

  • Bending and lifting up to 40 pounds
  • The ability to repetitively move on and off equipment
  • Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
