JOB SUMMARY

As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the Technology organization, ensuring the reliability, availability, security, and performance of enterprise infrastructure, end-user support services, and compliance programs. You will provide operational leadership across infrastructure, help desk, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance functions while driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a strong operational leader with technical expertise, outstanding people management skills, and the ability to align IT services with organizational goals and business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across the organization.
  • Ensure technology services meet business requirements and established service level expectations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee servers, networks, cloud services, backup systems, and enterprise technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Manage infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, system lifecycle management, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Lead end-user support operations and service desk activities to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor help desk performance metrics and implement service improvements to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
  • Oversee PCI, SOC, audit, cybersecurity, and information security programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, security standards, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate audits, risk assessments, remediation efforts, and compliance initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and third-party partners.
  • Oversee technology contracts, operational budgets, software licensing, and vendor performance.
  • Maintain accountability for hardware, software, and technology asset management programs.
  • Lead major incident response activities and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to improve operational stability and reduce recurring issues.
  • Identify automation opportunities and process improvements that enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive operational maturity, service management excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives across the IT organization.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding operational performance, service metrics, infrastructure health, compliance status, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor technical teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS

(Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, compliance programs, and operational service management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations management and service delivery best practices.
  • Experience leading help desk, infrastructure, and operational support functions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong vendor management and budget administration experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
