Job description

Sweetgreen is seeking an IT Operations Associate to join our Technology Platform Operations Team - helping build and operate the platform services that keep our corporate, store, and enterprise technology secure, reliable, and increasingly self-service as we continue to shape the future of food.
About the Job
In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of corporate IT systems, and support other Corporate employees (all the way up to Executives) for their IT needs. This role is also critical to contributing to the team's platform transformation - shifting from reactive support toward automated, AI-powered, and self-service delivery. You'll work across identity management, corporate device management, store technology support, and operational automation.
In-scope systems and platforms include:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Identity & Access Management)
  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft Intune (Corporate & Store Device Management)
  • ServiceNow; IT Service Management ("ITSM") & Configuration Management Database ("CMDB") modules
  • Corporate Windows & Mac laptop management
  • Google Meet / Chrome meeting room devices
  • AI agent and automation tooling (Workato, scripting, LLM-based workflows)
Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management
  • Manage and coordinate User Identity & Access management across SaaS applications via Entra ID
  • Onboard applications into SSO and manage dynamic group rules
  • Support access reviews and ensure compliance with security policies
Corporate IT Operations
  • Create, develop and implement a schedule for continuous patch management for corporate devices
  • Conduct tech onboarding sessions for new corporate joiners
  • Manage corporate hardware lifecycle: provisioning, inventory, and decommissioning
  • Administer legal holds and documentation retention processes
Platform & Automation
  • Automate manual processes wherever possible through scripting (TypeScript, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) and workflow platforms (Workato)
  • Build and maintain AI-powered support workflows to reduce ticket volume and improve resolution times
  • Contribute to self-service tooling for common IT requests (password resets, access provisioning, device setup)
  • Partner with engineering teams to maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) standards for IT and identity services
Store Technology Support
  • Support store technology operations, including device provisioning and network connectivity troubleshooting
  • Contribute to New Retail Opening (NRO) automation workflows for device and network setup
  • Assist with store health monitoring and proactive issue identification
Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain Knowledge Base articles
  • Create and maintain operational runbooks for common support scenarios
  • Contribute to incident postmortem documentation and learning capture
What you'll get:
  • Highly competitive pay + bonus plan
  • Three different medical plans to suit your and your family's needs
  • Dental and Vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO plan
  • 401k program
  • Employee HSA and FSA
  • Complimentary greens
  • An opportunity to make a real impact on the people around you, both by growing them and by connecting them to real food
  • To live the sweetlife and celebrate your passion + purpose
  • A collaborative team of people who live our core values and have your back
  • A clear career path with opportunities for development, both personally and professionally
  • Free sweetgreen swag
