JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing IT operations and strategy across multiple portfolio companies within Cresten. This role requires managing diverse IT environments and implementing unified technology solutions to optimize performance, security, and scalability. The IT Manager will collaborate with executive staff to align IT strategies with the goals of each business entity while maintaining overall synergy within the organization’s IT framework.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the overall objectives
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand unique IT needs and challenges.
  • Create and maintain a strategic IT roadmap that supports business goals.
  • Lead cross-business IT initiatives and manage intercompany IT integration projects.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and support systems across all business units, ensuring reliability and prompt resolution of system issues.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of all company devices to ensure proper installation of software systems, security configurations, and firewall protections.
  • Standardize IT policies and procedures to maintain consistency while allowing flexibility for business-specific requirements.
  • Implement shared services to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop centralized IT service management to support diverse business operations efficiently.
  • Maintain a robust IT governance framework to ensure compliance across all subsidiaries.

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong leadership and management abilities.

  • Advanced project management capabilities, including leading multi-business IT projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience, with at least 3 years overseeing multi-business IT operations.
  • Proven experience managing diverse IT environments and leading cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Experience with cloud solutions and centralized IT services.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Based in office headquarters in Sioux Falls.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Less than 10% on an annual basis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
