TITLE: IT COORDINATOR
POSITION: FULL TIME/DIRECT HIRE
Summary:

We achieve this through workforce creation, vocational training, and environmental stewardship. With 18 retail stores, an online store, an extensive reuse/recycling operation, and our Contract Services division, we help individuals overcome barriers to employment, build sustainable lives and communities.
The IT Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting GWSV’s day-to-day operations of the IT department. This position will work closely with the entire IT team and other departments to ensure that IT services are delivered in a timely and effective manner. The IT Coordinator will also assist with the implementation of new technology projects and initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including hardware and software installations, maintenance, and support.
Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
Provide technical support, training, and assistance to end users, escalating issues to senior IT staff as needed.
Assist with the implementation of new technology projects and initiatives.
Maintain and update hardware and software inventory.
Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions for reference and training purposes.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT services are aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor performance metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of IT processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Monitor systems and network performance.
Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc.).
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Coordinator or similar role.
Experience in network management and help desk support.
Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.
Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred.
Valid CA driver’s license
Preferred Technological Knowledge:
OKTA, Office 365, Intune, JAMF, Netskope, POS Systems
Working conditions:
Works in an office environment
Works a standard workweek with occasional evenings and/or weekends.
Occasional local travel to GWSV’s retail stores
Moderate: Occasional short deadlines. The work environment is occasionally hectic with occasional high activity, with great emphasis on teamwork.
