Senior Sales Account Executive - Santa Ana/LA, Houston/TX , Irving/TX

Role: Hunt & close Ocean/Air freight, Warehousing, Trucking, Customs Brokerage

Exp Required: 3+ years selling Ocean/Air for a freight forwarder

Mindset: Hunter – cold calling, networking, in-person visits

Nice to Have: CargoWise One, Bachelor's Degree

Salary: $80k–$120k base + uncapped commission. Base salary dependent on industry and sales experience.

Client: Is a established top freight forwarder in the transportation industry. They provide freight transportation, logistics, and information services to over 50,000 customers through a network of global offices.

Requirements

The Role

Full sales life-cycle – from prospecting to closing. Sell Ocean/Air Import/Export, Warehousing, Trucking, Customs Brokerage & Cargo Insurance
Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.).

Present the Group's service offers: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.

Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management (based off monthly salary).

Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local market.

Maintain communication with internal teams as well as overseas offices.

Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
