Job Title: Regional Sales Executive
Reports To: Regional Sales Director
Location: This role is open to applicants who reside in Salt Lake City, UT
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Regional Sales Executive to drive new business growth within an assigned geography. This is a dedicated, in-market role built for someone who thrives on building real relationships with the people who make purchasing decisions in Healthcare, Senior Living, Food & Beverage, and Hospitality. You'll spend the majority of your time in the field, developing deep fluency in what Royal Cup and Farmer Brothers can do for each industry, and turning that knowledge into new accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Spend the majority of your time in market, building relationships through in-person prospect engagement
  • Engage key decision-makers, including procurement leaders, F&B Directors, GMs, and operations leaders who influence buying decisions
  • Develop deep fluency in the Royal Cup and Farmer Brothers value proposition for each target industry: Healthcare, Senior Living, Food & Beverage, and Hospitality
  • Share concrete examples and proof points of how Royal Cup and Farmer Brothers deliver value for customers in each target segment
  • Use sales materials and sector enablement content to anchor every meeting in relevant, prepared content that moves toward a commercial outcome
  • Pursue and close competitive takeaway opportunities with a disciplined, well-prepared approach, developing compelling proposals in partnership with internal teams
  • Maintain an accurate, current pipeline in our CRM system
  • Prospect new business within your assigned geography and hand off newly closed accounts to the Regional Account Manager with thorough documentation

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual new business and profitability targets
  • Building and maintaining a strong, qualified pipeline with consistent forward motion
  • Closing new accounts across your priority industries every quarter
  • Achieving target profitability on new business, not just top-line growth
  • Continuously improving your sales cycle through stronger proposals and earlier qualification

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combined education and sales experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales or a related role, with a track record of business growth through effective selling and account management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically while executing day to day
  • Willingness and ability to travel across multiple markets, including overnight travel for meetings, trade shows, and training
  • A valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as required by state law

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Prior sales experience in Healthcare, Senior Living, or Hospitality foodservice
  • Experience with C4C or a similar CRM platform

GOOD TO KNOW:
Because this role involves regular vehicular travel, it's considered safety-sensitive. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.
This role also requires the ability to walk and stand for extended periods while visiting customer locations, to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel by air, and to lift up to 15 pounds with or without assistance.
