Position: Air Export Clerk

Location: Rosedale, NY

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Air Imports with an international freight forwarder
  • Good communication skills and typing of 50+ WPM required.
  • Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and team player essential.
  • Prior freight forwarding and/or logistics experience is required.
  • College degree is a plus but not required.
  • Multilingual is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange & follow up with shipment coordination & daily communication with customers & overseas offices
  • Prepare & handle all required import shipping, arrival notice/ATME, & customs documentation
  • Arrange trucking/delivery order, issue invoices, prepare documents, filing etc.
  • Billing and shipment filing
  • Compliance of all transportation & security regulations, including customer’s policies and external government regulations
  • Monitor shipment for delivery schedule on timely basis
  • Establish, supervise and continuously improve import process flows in conformance with rules, procedures and company policy.
