Job description


POSITION TITLE: Account Executive - Off Price
POSITION PURPOSE:
Leads in managing and growing sales of existing and new off price accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Collaborate with Off Price Sales Team in setting strategies to liquidate excess product and increase sales of up-front business. Work closely with buyers on seasonal plans and ensure selling of styles that optimize profitability for both Guess? and our off price accounts. Optimize business opportunities for produced styles by working with the internal production department in order to hit target prices and maintain a profitable business without compromising quality.
Be creative in developing new opportunities within the Off Price market and have great attention to detail. Be able to sell multiple brands into the same account managing the product mix. Partner with the Off Price Sales Team to process production requests and execute special development.
On a daily basis the Account Executive is responsible for maintaining a recap of all bookings and related margin by account. Managing and/or delegating shipping status to ensure orders are being delivered and invoiced in a timely manner; and resolving issues associated with shipment of orders. Leading the Off Price Team on daily operations and special projects. Analyzing on-order to ensure divisions are on track to meet target shipping goals as well as strategizing and identifying additional sales opportunities.
On a monthly basis the Account Executive is responsible for updating all monthly sales reports. Reviewing profitability based on shipments. Working with Management on forecasting future shipments and troubleshooting on-order issues. Providing a briefing of month-end sales and resolving all issues by collaborating with Management, Buyers, and Production partners.
Organize, lead, and present seasonal collections to the buyers that best represent the current market trends and vision of the company. Plan, assort, and merchandise product line presentations during market week; selling the collections based on ranking sheets and/or projections. Review orders with Management and relay any callouts, request, and/or opportunities to the accounts.
