Job description

Executive Assistant

Rho is the modern banking platform built for startups. Open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.

Our executives move fast, and this role is what lets them move faster. As an Executive Assistant at Rho, you'll be the operational backbone for several members of our leadership team — protecting their time, running their calendars, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. When you're doing your job well, decisions happen sooner, meetings start on time, and the people you support get to spend their energy on the things only they can do.

This is not a passive, task-taking role. You'll anticipate needs before they're voiced, make judgment calls with limited information, and own the details end-to-end. You'll sit close to how the company actually runs.

This role is based out of our NYC office, 5 days a week.

What You'll Do
  • Own complex, high-volume calendars across multiple executives — prioritize ruthlessly, resolve conflicts, and protect focus time.
  • Coordinate travel, offsites, and logistics end-to-end, and be the person who catches the detail everyone else missed.
  • Prepare execs for their day — agendas, briefing notes, and follow-ups — so every meeting starts and ends with a clear outcome.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper. Field competing requests, make the call on what gets time, and handle sensitive information with total discretion.
  • Drive projects across the leadership team — track action items, chase decisions, and keep things moving without being asked.
  • Use AI to move faster on scheduling, drafting, and research. We expect everyone at Rho to multiply their leverage with the best tools available.
  • Go where you're needed. Everyone at Rho goes beyond their job description — whether that's helping run an event or jumping on an office logistics fire drill, this role is no exception.
You Have
  • 3+ years supporting senior executives, ideally in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
  • High ownership and accountability — you take responsibility for outcomes and close the loop without being chased.
  • Exceptional organization and judgment — you anticipate what's needed, prioritize under pressure, and rarely drop a ball.
  • A bias toward action — you make progress when things are ambiguous and surface problems early.
  • Total discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Clear, warm, precise communication — in writing and in person.
  • Comfort with AI and modern tools, and a real interest in finding faster ways to work.

Our people are our most valuable asset. Our target compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
