Responsible for maintaining the Human Resources system of record, ensuring data integrity and system security. This position ensures the optimal function of the HRIS system, which includes set-up, configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, modules, ongoing process improvement activities and provides metrics to bring greater efficiency to HR as well as the entire company. The role will function as the HRIS subject-matter expert and also perform technical support, troubleshooting and provide guidance to HRIS users as well as project management, HR analytics, and systems administration. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

·       First point of contact for HRIS challenges to include research, resolution and process correction. Also is the main contact for standard and custom reporting needs

·       Responsible for system updates, appropriate communication of HRIS system changes, upgrades or known issues, reviews data within the HRIS system for accuracy, updates as needed to ensure the system is accurately reflecting the correct data in real time, works with HR assistants, generalist and HRBP’s for system upgrades, enhancements, and data integration.

·       Ensuring end users are included to analyze, design, develop, integrate, test, and implement system applications to meet special and on-going needs of associates and leadership in HRIS.

·       Documents and maintains setup details for all system configurations. Manages business rules and polices around HR practices, standards, data integrity, enhancements, security profiles and reporting areas.

·       Establishes data tables, structures, files, interface requirements and data integrity protocols for ongoing administration.

·       Ensures data integration and proper interfaces including, but not limited to: insurance carriers, Learning Management System and Active Directory.

·       Collaborates with HR Leadership, Payroll, Finance and IT to ensure accurate, timely and efficient processing of business transactions.

·       Analyzes and evaluates current systems and processes and makes recommendations for improvement and consideration of implementation and integration of other platforms.

·       Creates annual performance review templates per directives received from the compensation manager and HR management team. Distributes review templates to managers, providing training materials, process coaching, metrics reporting, and troubleshooting throughout the full process lifecycle.

·       Creates managerial level salary plans for annual merit increase process, following directives from compensation manager and HR Leadership. Creates reports and manages task delegations to ensure timely merit increases are recommended and approved with sufficient time to allow a system initiated import to payroll for final processing.

·       Identifies new functionality and recommend/implement changes to align with corporate and departmental strategies.

·       Documents, streamlines, and automates processes and procedures for HRIS, other HR related technology, and business intelligence function.

·       Responsible for designing and continuously streamlining Company-wide HR data, dashboard analytics, standard and custom reporting, using benchmarking and best practices as guiding standards to support business needs.

·       Ongoing focus on systems data integrity. Monitor regulatory compliance, data privacy requirements and facilitate SOX audit activities.

·       Responsible for HRIS system security including the establishment and assignment of security profiles with appropriate approvals and works with IT to maintain SSO.

·       Responsible for ongoing training of HR Team on HRIS and other HR related technology. Collaborates and assists IT Training Specialist with development of bank wide HR technology training.

·      Collaborates with the HR team to ensure all HRIS system related instructions, guides, presentations, documents and etc. are accurate.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

·       Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

·       Demonstrated ability to multi-task is required.

·       General knowledge of HR laws and best practices is required.

·       Strong organizational skills are required.

·       Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.

Industry and Work Experience:

·       3 - 5 years of experience with HRIS required, preferably Workday.

·       Previous experience working in the assigned line of business and/or in banking is preferred.

·       Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws is preferred.

Academic:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.

·       Masters or MBA preferred.

·       SHRM-CP or other HR certification preferred.
