General Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced, versatile Hotel Operations Task Force Manager to provide operational leadership and financial & administrative support across our portfolio. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of hotel operations and a proven track record of managing diverse hospitality brands. This position is strategically based within the Midwest but allows travel to any state within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide interim coverage for General Managers and department heads as needed.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist with hotel accounting operations, payroll management, and corporate financial compliance.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds to ensure strict adherence to cleanliness, appearance, and brand standards.
  • Training & Development: Conduct operational and hotel accounting training programs for property teams.
  • Project Management: Support hotel openings, multi-million dollar renovations, and brand transitions.
  • Compliance & Standards: Maintain absolute adherence to all franchise regulations, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Champion company policies and hospitality philosophies through direct interaction with employees and guests.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience; prior roles as a General Manager or Controller are highly preferred.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, including frequent overnight stays which could be for long periods of time.
  • Technical Skills: Capacity to quickly master a variety of property management systems (PMS) and hotel accounting platforms.
  • Core Competencies: Proven ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and prioritize under minimal direct supervision.
  • Leadership Style: A hands-on leader willing to work on the front line alongside property teams.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and strong technical writing ability for corporate reporting.
