Position Title: Warehouse & Fleet Associate
Department: Warehouse / Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Quality Service Today is seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse & Fleet Associate to support our Plumbing, Electrical, and Septic divisions. This position is responsible for maintaining warehouse organization, receiving and stocking inventory, preparing materials for technicians, managing company fleet maintenance, and ensuring our warehouse and vehicles operate efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping both the warehouse and company fleet organized and operating at peak performance.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Stock shelves, bins, and warehouse locations according to company standards.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse cleanliness.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Identify low-stock items and communicate purchasing needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas inside and outside the warehouse.
  • Dispose of cardboard, scrap materials, and waste appropriately.
Technician Support
  • Stage materials, equipment, and special-order items for daily installations and service calls.
  • Load and unload service vehicles.
  • Restock technician trucks with required inventory and supplies.
  • Assist with tool management, including issuing, tracking, and returning company tools.
  • Ensure technicians have necessary materials before dispatch each morning.
Fleet Management
  • Coordinate routine maintenance for all company vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance including:
    • Oil changes
    • Air filter replacement
    • Wiper blade replacement
    • Tire pressure checks
    • Fluid level inspections
    • Battery inspections
  • Schedule outside repairs and warranty work as needed.
  • Track vehicle maintenance records and service intervals.
  • Maintain vehicle registration and inspection schedules.
  • Coordinate fleet cleanliness, washing, and interior organization.
  • Monitor fuel usage and report maintenance concerns.
  • Perform routine inspections of company trailers and equipment.
  • Remove vehicles from service when safety concerns are identified.
  • Assist with outfitting new service vehicles with shelving, inventory, tools, and equipment.
Equipment Management
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, ladders, generators, pumps, and power tools.
  • Organize and track company-owned equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs for damaged tools and equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is properly stored and ready for technician use.
Required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
