Fleet Associate II
Job Description
The Fleet Associate II is responsible for executing repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections to ensure all Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) and Electric Vehicles (EV) are road-ready, compliant and safe to operate. This role emphasized vehicle safety, drivability, ADA compliance, and accurate documentation while maintaining high fleet standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and in-house repairs according to fleet standards to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and fully drivable.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot WAV accessibility and mechanical systems to ensure ADA compliance and safety, complete approved non-powered repairs, and promptly escalate safety-critical concerns.
  • Create, update, and close work orders independently with clear documentation and photos, confirming vehicles meet road-ready standards prior to release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve, stage, and track parts accurately in the fleet system, notifying supervisors of lower inventory or delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment while following general shop safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Technicians, Leads, and vendors as needed, and provide guidance to Fleet Associate I staff when appropriate.
