The VP, Fleet Business Unit will oversee UVeye's fleet business end-to-end, including P&L ownership, business development, program management, strategic partnerships, customer success, and fleet operations, driving UVeye's strategic expansion within the fleet and mobility ecosystem. This role requires a strong leader with operational expertise, a deep understanding of fleet operations, and experience scaling enterprise customers, teams, and processes. The VP will be responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth across UVeye's fleet customer base.

A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:

  • Define and execute the overall strategy for UVeye's fleet business, aligned with company objectives.
  • Scale UVeye's fleet deployments across multiple customer segments, including commercial, logistics, leasing, and mobility operators.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering teams to enhance UVeye's value proposition for fleet customers.
  • Oversee fleet customer operations, ensuring efficient deployment, onboarding, and ongoing operational performance.
  • Partner with operations leadership to build and manage scalable support and service models for fleet customers.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, safety standards, and service-level agreements.
  • Lead Enterprise Business Development efforts within the fleet segment, expanding existing accounts and forging new strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and drive new revenue opportunities across fleet use cases, collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Work closely with fleet customers to optimize asset utilization, vehicle health, and operational efficiency through UVeye's technology.
  • Oversee Customer Success and Program Management teams to deliver an exceptional fleet customer experience.
  • Ensure fleet customers achieve measurable ROI from UVeye's solutions, driving renewals, upsells, and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives informed by customer feedback, data insights, and evolving fleet market needs.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to tailor UVeye's solutions to the operational needs of fleet operators.
  • Work closely with marketing to position UVeye as a leading inspection and analytics solution for fleet customers.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR to manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and scale hiring in line with growth.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business development, or general management roles within fleet management, mobility, logistics, automotive technology, or related industries, including direct ownership of P&L, large-scale teams, and multi-regional operations.
  • Demonstrated success scaling enterprise customers and operational infrastructure across multiple sites, regions, or countries, including building repeatable processes, governance models, and performance frameworks to support rapid growth.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise B2B sales cycles, strategic partnerships, and complex commercial negotiations, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth through account expansion, long-term contracts, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong track record of leading operational transformation and process optimization initiatives, implementing scalable systems, KPIs, and performance management structures that support high-volume fleet operations.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Product, Engineering), fostering accountability and execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Experience developing and executing customer success strategies for large enterprise accounts, ensuring retention, expansion, and long-term value realization.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging technology, automation, and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Experience with automotive technology, fleet management systems, telematics, AI-driven solutions, or mobility platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency in computer vision / ML systems, with the ability to understand model performance, limitations, and real-world deployment considerations in fleet environments.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into scalable fleet solutions and business outcomes, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, priorities, and execution.

Compensation:

UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 $250,000. In addition, this position is also eligible for Bonus.

Physical & Travel Requirements

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, operational locations, and company offices. The position may involve time spent walking customer facilities, standing for meetings or site reviews, and working in varying operational environments such as fleet yards, service facilities, or warehouses.
