Job description

Duties:

  • Performs complex analytical and data input functions with responsibility to insure the maximum utilization of assigned contractors (Owner Operators). Coordinates the planning, movement of available loads from Agents and field offices/terminals with Owner Operators. Provides direct communication to the Owner Operators coordinating the required FMCSA and administrative compliance.
  • Meet daily revenue goals for the division.
  • Insure that assigned fleet contractors (owner operators) achieve the monthly IRS form 1099 revenue goal per unit.
  • Manage and issue the contractor load advance ensuring compliance to established guidelines (40% of L/H revenue plus 50% of applicable FSC).
  • Maintain the assigned fleets contractor turnover to no more than one cancellation per month.
  • Manage customer on-time performance requirements utilizing operating system updates for in transit check calls and proactive actions (re-power, rescheduling delivery appointment) to insure compliance to customer performance standards.
  • Manage assigned fleets vehicle operator compliance in attending safety meetings. (Two meetings annually)

Requirements:

  • Computer input experience; practical work history in supporting over-the-road operations of a motor carrier compliance with state/federal DOT regulations; understanding of equipment types their capacity and capabilities; customer service and good communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively at various levels, computer and analytical skills.
  • Computer input and analytical experience; practical understanding/work experience in the application of TL operations that comply with state/federal safety regulations, practical knowledge of equipment types necessary to meet customer requirements as well as their capacity and capabilities; seasoned customer service and communication skills. The ability to conceptualize assigned fleets geographical locations on a daily basis and their operational status.
  • Must have experience in platform trucking operations.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task.
  • Exceptional customer service skills a must.
