The organization's mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. Turning Point USA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free market values. Since its founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on high school and college campuses across the country. Job Description
The Field Representative - Southwest is a field-first role responsible for launching, supporting, and strengthening TPUSA Communities chapters across the Southwest United States. This role is focused on execution. Field Representatives work directly with Chapter Leaders to drive growth, support event execution, and ensure chapters are active, effective, and aligned with national standards. Field Representatives serve as the primary point of contact for local leaders within their region and are responsible for building momentum in both established and emerging markets.
What You Will Do:
  • Travel regularly to support the launch and growth of TPUSA Communities chapters across the Southwest;
  • Identify and help develop new Chapter Leaders in key cities;
  • Support newly launched chapters through hands-on training and follow-up;
  • Assist chapters with outreach, recruitment, and grassroots engagement efforts;
  • Ensure chapters are hosting consistent, high-quality events aligned with Communities standards;
  • Help plan, support, and at times directly execute events in developing markets;
  • Provide guidance on event logistics, promotion, and execution;
  • Monitor chapter health and performance, identifying areas for improvement;
  • Maintain consistent communication with Chapter Leaders and provide ongoing support;
  • Track chapter activity, events, and engagement using internal systems;
  • Work closely with Strategic Managers to meet national chapter and event goals;
  • Represent TPUSA Communities professionally at events and in the field.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in grassroots organizing, community leadership, or field operations;
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role;
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • High level of organization, follow-through, and accountability;
  • Alignment with TPUSA's mission and values;
  • Ability to travel 45%-50% of the time;
  • Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned;
  • Receives and applies feedback constructively to improve performance;
  • Effectively reports updates and progress to leadership in a timely manner;
  • Demonstrates the physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs.
