Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team!

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling service requests and maintaining the community overall functionality under the direction of the head of maintenance or property manager.

Primary Responsibilities includes:

  • Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately
  • Help to prepare vacant apartments for new residents collaborating on the turnaround process
  • Keep grounds and common areas clean and free debris
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.

Perform electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry repairs, including:

  • Repairing electrical circuits, switches and breakers
  • Servicing and installing light fixtures and appliances (Stove, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
  • Fixing and replacing toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals and caulking
  • Handling minor carpentry repairs including doors, windows screens and blinds.
  • Painting and drywall repair as needed
  • Removing bulk trash, including discarded appliances.
  • Clearing drains and sewer lines

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
  • HVAC certification is a plus
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 and safety using ladders
