JOB SUMMARY:
The Richmond Flying Squirrels are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Season Ticket Sales Executive to generate revenue through the sale of new season ticket memberships. This role will manage the sales cycle from lead generation through account management, while building and maintaining strong relationships. The position plays a key role in growing the team's season ticket base and welcoming more fans into the Flying Squirrels community.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Drive revenue by selling new season ticket memberships.
  • Generate new business through outbound calls, emails, referrals, networking, events, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential members.
  • Process ticket orders and maintain accurate sales activity within ticketing and CRM systems.
  • Maintain consistent sales activity and effectively manage a pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of ticket products, seating options, pricing, benefits, promotions, and the overall guest experience.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell, renew, and grow existing accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate with the Ticket Services team to ensure season ticket members receive all applicable membership benefits.
  • Provide regular updates to the Ticket Sales team on sales pipeline activity, performance, outside appointments, event recaps, and account management.
  • Represent the organization at games, community events, networking opportunities, and other initiatives to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Premium Hospitality team to deliver an exceptional experience for season ticket members and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a strong initiative to achieve or exceed goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and attention-to-detail with the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and respond positively to feedback.
  • Previous sales experience in sports or entertainment preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by the baseball schedule and business needs.
